Why A Graphic Novel

Here is what Dan has to say about it

About The Book

In Amazing Decisions, we learn by following a hapless protagonist, Adam, who faces a constant barrage of choices and deliberations, as we all do.

With each choice, he has to negotiate two overlapping-and often contradictory-sets of norms: social norms and market norms. These norms inform our thinking in ways we often don’t notice, and each norm compels us to act in certain ways. Drawing on his pioneering research, Dan Ariely shows that Adam will need more than just the best intentions to make the right choices. Indeed, if he tries to use money as a motivator in the wrong situations, it could end up having the opposite effect.

Dan Ariely and Matt R. Trower’s Amazing Decisions transforms the latest breakthroughs in behavioral science into an accessible, vibrant, and entertaining guide to developing skills that will prove invaluable in personal and professional life.
